City High Sterling 74

San Pedro College, one of the country's best nursing school, marked its golden anniversary last week with many activities including honoring the institution's top graduates.

Among the awardees were our Sterling '74 batchmates Leonila Quinonez and Susan Amaut for their outstanding professional service. Both are now working in the eastcoast of the US.

They are currently in town but won't be able to join our Kadayawan 2006 reunion this Saturday. Instead, Section Rizal will hold a dinner celebration with them Monday evening at Krua Thai infront of our alma mater.

Another batchmate also a nurse working in the US, Elizabeth Babiera, is also here.

For the Kadayawan reunion, Nikki Torres is flying home from Brooklyn, New York City.

See you all Satruday 7 pm at Gina's/Celia's residence.

Noel Divinagracia and I were in Manila last week. Olga Serrano arranged for an instant re-union. We met Glenda Gicain for the first time in more than 30 years. We had merienda at the house of Riza Estrada in Las Pinas. Nonoy Yacas was there too all the way from Cavite. Here are some pics:

Those who did not make it were Edwin Bautista, Arlene Libron, Yvonne Amon and Ana Aguila, among others.

2003 Xmas Card from Roy, Dinah and kids Celine, Karen, Donna and Josh. Pinoy talaga, naka-barong Tagalog sa Amerika!

Roy was Rotary Club exchange student and went to Indiana, USA. So, he was not in our class picture below. You will find Dinah in the last row of girls, second to the left. Look at her then and in 2003. Moi gwapa pa ren!

Just sharing pics taken at the Silver Star Mountain Resort for two weeks I've been here...I have driven already a snow mobile and it was a great fun...It's spring break for the kids so, a lot of people come to the resort and this time of the year, foreigners come just to country ski and to
snowboard...You can see that there's a pond where people have to skate with their dogs and to play hockey...They treat their dogs here as company not a guard in the house (unlike in the Philippines!)hehe!(pulutan pa jud!)

I wonder what happened to the pics I sent to your emails! Kaya pala, nobody responded to my emails...(nagtampo na nga ako eh!) Oh well! Sometimes this technology works great but sometimes, screws us up!

This was our official logo during the Silver Jubilee natin when we hosted the Grand Alumni Homecoming in 1999 (One of the best daw!) Nahirapan ang artist ko JC Gonzales when we asked him to print the t-shirts. He used 11 silkscreens to capture all the different colors. This was retro depiction of the spirit of 1974.

Here was the print at the back of our t-shirts!
